Welcome to Jeac Ceramics!
Hey, I’m Jenny - thanks for visiting my shop.
I’m a Master of Architecture graduate who stepped away from the corporate world in search of a slower, more hands-on way of creating. I started working with clay and wheel throwing in 2023 and was drawn to its quiet, meditative nature—working with my hands, shaping each piece with intention. A particularly memorable part of this journey was taking wheel-throwing lessons in Turkey, which deepened my appreciation for the craft’s in-depth history.
From my home studio in Sydney, I create a range of ceramics—hand-built and wheel-thrown, both functional and decorative. Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by my Chinese heritage and a strong connection to the natural world. Lately, I’ve been exploring organic forms that echo the undulating structures of fungi—morels, dried mushroom caps—and the pitted, weathered rock formations along the Australian coastline. There’s something grounding about these natural, irregular textures, and I love translating that into clay.
I hope these pieces bring a sense of warmth and quiet beauty into your space.
