Welcome to Jeac Ceramics!
Hey, I’m Jenny - thanks for visiting my shop.
I’m a Master of Architecture graduate who stepped away from the corporate world in search of a slower, more hands-on way of creating. I started working with clay and wheel throwing in 2023 and was drawn to its quiet, meditative nature—working with my hands, shaping each piece with intention. A particularly memorable part of this journey was taking wheel-throwing lessons in Turkey, which deepened my appreciation for the craft’s in-depth history.
From my home studio in Sydney, I create a range of ceramics—hand-built and wheel-thrown, both functional and decorative. Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by my Chinese heritage and a strong connection to the natural world. Lately, I’ve been exploring organic forms that echo the undulating structures of fungi - morels, dried mushroom caps - and the pitted, weathered rock formations along the Australian coastline. There’s something grounding about these natural, irregular textures, and I love translating that into clay.
I hope these pieces bring a sense of warmth and quiet beauty into your space.
